Cartweaver Modifications

Today I just wanted to take a short time and go over some of the modifications that I have done in the past for clients and for other developers - and also some mods that I haven't done that seem to be needed...

• Integrate Live Shipper data (UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, Canada Post, etc.)
• Integrate an affiliate system
• Allow multiple payment options - not just one universal one. (you can choose one from many, not multiple methods in one transaction)
• Wholesale pricing
• Reporting in the admin (cost of current inventory, items sold during x period, etc.)
• Adding in lightbox or other 'cool' image display system
• Wishlists
• Product Reviews
• Only allowing shipping to a specified delivery area (florists for example)
• Adding custom text to an item. (for example a floral card will say "happy birthday" on one flower and "love forever" on another bouquet - all in the same order. Or you might be ordering a ticket for a recurring concert on day x - and two tickets for the same concert on day y)
• Adding vertical category listings as well as the default horizontal
• Charge shipping based on a percent not on a dollar amount. (For shipping add on 10% of the total order)
• Adding a "copy product" button to the admin
• Site Map Generator
• Themes
• Mailroom
• Import / Export Products
• Send This Page to a Friend
  

Well those are just a few modifications that I have had to do in the past or have seen many many requests for and never done. I hope to hash them all aout for you at some point in the coming months. Of course the next version may be out by the time I do and it may have them - who knows.
